Stephen Nolan has, once again, got himself stranded - this time in his own radio studio.

The broadcaster became trapped in his own studio on Friday, after his chair got wedged in a door.

"Whatever way my fat back was leaving on the back of the chair," he told his Radio 5 Live listeners, "the chair got stuck."

Embarrassingly for Nolan, his bosses were in the next room holding a meeting, while he struggled to free himself.

Eventually, after 35 minutes, Nolan managed to free himself.

Responding to the video posted online, one Twitter user branded the Belfast-born man a "numpty".

"Agreed," replied Stephen.

Last year the presenter got into difficulty on the Mourne Mountain during a hike which resulted in a police rescue.
