Belfast bomb hoax: Police release image of man

By Lesley Houston

Police have appealed for help in identifying a man they want to speak to about a hoax bomb alert in Belfast city centre.

An object made to look like a pipe-bomb was placed in the Donegall Square West area on December 10, 2013. Upper Queen Street and Donegall Square West were closed to traffic and pedestrians during the alert.

Police want anyone who can identify the man in the picture to contact CID at Musgrave station on 101.

Shortly before 9pm on that date, CCTV cameras captured the man wearing a green zipped Adidas hoodie and cream hat.
