Belfast High School: police investigating incident after pupil injured

Police are investigating an incident at Belfast High School in which a male pupil was injured.

The pupil was injured at the Newtownabbey grammar school on Friday morning.

He is in a stable condition at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

Police said that the circumstances of the incident and how the pupil came by his injuries are currently being investigated.

Pupils and staff are co-operating fully with the police investigation.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact local police or members of school staff.
