Belfast riot accused enters guilty plea
A man has been remanded in custody after pleading guilty to rioting.
Gary Hindes (24), from Magheraconluce Road in Hillsborough, admitted rioting in Belfast on July 12 this year.
Prosecutor Simon Jenkins told Belfast Crown Court the defendant had "two relevant previous matters".
A defence request for continued bail was refused by Judge Gordon Kerry QC, who remanded Hindes in custody yesterday.
Pre-sentence reports were ordered, and Hindes will be sentenced on January 13, 2014.
