Belfast school bus and car involved in collision

A Belfast school bus carrying a number of children has been involved in a rush hour collision with a car in Finaghy.

The accident happened on Finaghy Road North, on the outslirts of the city at around 8.50am this morning.

Translink said the bus driver was taken to hospital as a precaution.

A number of pupils from Malone College were taken to hospital and are being treated for shock and minor injuries, a police spokesperson said.

The road remains open to traffic.
