Final preparations are underway ahead of one of the biggest music events of the summer.

Belsonic 2017 kicks off this week with a new venue and an impressive line-up. Eight concerts will take place from tonight and on dates until Friday, June 30 at the Ormeau Park in Belfast.

Acts lined up for the event include Arcade Fire, The 1975, Cream Classical Live featuring K-Klass, Judge Jules, Tall Paul and Robbie Nelson, and Jess Glynne with support from Martin Jensen.

Road and traffic restrictions will be in place in the surrounding area from 5pm to midnight on many concert nights and will include parts of the Ormeau Road being reduced to one lane.
