Firefighters from across Northern Ireland raced to Ballycastle yesterday after a fire broke out in the kitchens of the town's Marine Hotel.
Seven appliances, including a specialised aerial machine, were summoned to the fire, which started in a cooker unit.
No one was injured, and the hotel's operation was not interrupted, a Fire Service spokesman told the Belfast Telegraph last night.
The popular north coast seafront hotel recently announced a £1m upgrade plan.
