BMW driver who died after single-car crash named by police

Police have named a man who died after a road crash in Co Londonderry.

Reginald Diamond, 29, from Upperlands, died from his injuries following the incident on the Curragh Road in Coleraine on Saturday morning.

He had been critically ill in hospital after the silver BMW he was driving crashed close to Culcrow Primary School at around 6.30am.

There was no other vehicle involved in the incident.

Police have appealed for anyone who was travelling on the Curragh Road at the time to get in contact.
