Rowing will reach fever pitch on the River Lagan this Saturday as Queen's University hosts the 10th annual University Boat Race.
The race has become one of Belfast's premier sporting events and sees Trinity College Dublin take on Queen's in a repeat fixture of the first Boat Race back in 2004.
In addition to the top men's and women's crews competing for the third-level honours, the event has grown to include a comprehensive schools schedule, which this year sees teams from Methodist College Belfast, Royal Belfast Academical Institution, Coleraine Academical Institution, Portora Royal School and Bann Rowing Club compete.
Spectators are encouraged to come along and enjoy the action from the banks of the River Lagan from the new location at Ravenhill Reach.
A marquee enclosure is offering live music, children's entertainment, food and refreshments from 10am on the day.
