A 14-year-old boy has been charged with riotous behaviour in connection with disorder in the New Lodge area.

He is to appear before Belfast Youth Court on August 30. The charge relates to disorder in the area on July 28.

He is the third 14-year-old boy to be charged in connection with the recent disorder in New Lodge.

Residents in the New Lodge suffered four consecutive nights of anti-social behaviour this week, with police officers also coming under attack.
