Brick City: Warren Elsmore's Lego world of wonder visits Belfast
Have you ever wanted to visit the Colosseum? The Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow? Or the Mardi Gras carnival in Rio?
Now you can – or at least the Lego version of 72 world landmarks displayed in Titanic Belfast.
Independent Lego artist Warren Elsmore has recreated landmarks from around the globe in painstaking detail, even down to the penguins on the beach in Capetown.
His miniature landscapes include London's Olympic Park and an incredibly detailed Westminster Abbey.
Warren has been a Lego fan since he was a child but it was only in recent years that he began to sculpt professionally.
"I built an enormous city in my bedroom with police stations and fire stations and the old castle with old castle walls round the centre of the city, and it got bigger and bigger every year as Christmas and birthdays came round," he said.
The exhibition runs daily in Titanic Belfast from 9am to 7pm until mid-July.
