Brothers tied up during armed robbery in Co Fermanagh

Two brothers have been tied up during an armed robbery at a house in a village in Co Fermanagh.

The robbery happened at a house in the Camgart Road area of Clabby late on Tuesday night.

Police said shortly after midnight they received a report that two men, one armed with a knife and the other a baseball bat entered the house around 11.30pm.

They demanded money and drugs. Before leaving they tied up two brothers who were at home at the time and ransacked the property. One of the brothers sustained a slight injury but did not require hospital treatment.

It is believed a small sum of cash and a number of items of crystal were taken.

Detective Inspector Brian Foster said: "I would appeal to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area around this time to contact Detectives at Enniskillen on the non-emergency number 101.

"Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."
