A £120,000 carriageway resurfacing scheme on a busy Belfast road will start next week.
Officials say the work, along the Crumlin Road to the Ligoniel Road junction, will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of the carriageway.
It is expected to be completed by Monday, August 28.
A series of road closures will take effect while the resurfacing is carried out.
From next Monday, August 21, to Friday, August 25, a one-way closure of the country-bound lane will be in place from 9am to 6pm.
On Sunday, August 27, a full road closure in both directions will be in place from 7am to 6pm.
On August 28, a full road closure in both directions will be in place from 7am to 6pm.
The Department for Infrastructure said the dates and duration of the road closures will be dependent on the progress of the scheme and on favourable weather conditions.
