A 54-year-old man has appeared in court over a £150,000 cannabis find at a Ballymena restaurant.
Appearing in the dock of Ballymena Magistrates Court on Saturday, Wan Hon-Fai was accused of six charges relating to the raid at the popular Water Margin restaurant on Thursday.
The premises were searched after police on patrol noted a strange smell coming from the Cullybackey Road building.
The 54-year-old faces charges of possessing the class B drug, possession of a class B drug with intent to supply and admitting production of a class B drug on premises.
Wan Hon-Fai was released on bail to reappear on March 13.
Officers seized plants worth around £150,000 at the restaurant and originally three people were arrested after the PSNI operation.
Police said that a 50-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were freed pending a report being sent to the Public Prosecution Service.
As well as being ordered to report to police weekly, the judge also ordered Hon-Fai to surrender his passport.
