Cannabis farm is busted by police

Cannabis plants with a street value of £40,000 were recovered from a house in Larne on Tuesday.

A total of 78 plants were removed by the police, from a property on the Old Glenarm Road following a tip-off from a member of the public.

Inspector Noel Rogan said: “Police in Larne are committed to tackling illegal drugs, and especially suppliers.

"We will find you and prosecute. If police find irresponsible landlords, then they will also find themselves facing prosecution.”
