Car and home damaged in Glenavy arson

Detectives are appealing for information following a suspected arson attack on a car at Glenavy Parade, Glenavy, in the early hours of Saturday.

Police received a report of a white Audi A3 on fire in a driveway at a house in the area, at around 3.30am on Saturday morning.

The Fire Service attended and extinguished the fire which caused considerable damage to the car and to windows and guttering of the house, which was unoccupied at the time.

Police are appealing for information and can be contacted on 101. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
