Car hijacked by masked thieves in St James's Parade area of Belfast


A man was left badly shaken after his car was hijacked in Belfast on Saturday evening.

Detectives are appealing for information following the incident in the St James's Parade area of the city at about 7.40pm.

The victim was ordered out of his car by two unknown men who had their faces covered.

The PSNI said the pair fled in the blue Citroen car, which was found burnt-out a short time later on the Whiterock Road.

"The man was not injured during this incident, however he was left badly shaken," said a spokeswoman.
