Carl Frampton leads family singalong to help daughter Carla with homework

Who knew homework could be so much fun?

Forget singing along with thousands of fans in Manchester Arena - home is where the heart is for Carl Frampton as he led his family in some homework family fun.

When Carl Frampton returned home from his IBF and WBA super-bantamweight world title unification victory in Manchester he said it was back to normal routine for him.

He may be a champion boxer with fans around the world but all of that was put to the side as Frampton helped his five-year-old daughter Carla with her homework.

It was family fun time at the Framptons as his wife Christine filmed a sing-along to "Trains are chugging up the hill" complete with actions.

As they do an encore, his one-year-old son Rossa adds his voice to proceedings.

Thousands of fans from Northern Ireland filled the Manchester Arena on Saturday night and they were in fine voice as the Belfast man and Quigg came face-to-face.

As the chants echoed around the venue and its corridors, The Jackal's supporters drowned out the English fans and he too joined in as they sang: "Everywhere we go, it's the Ulster boys making all the noise."

The champion boxer is to be given an official reception after Belfast City Council said it would stage an event to celebrate the boxer's achievements.
