Carl Frampton retains undefeated crown after Conrad Cummings St Patrick's Day gladiator-style bout

Fun at the Frampton's bash

Carl Frampton has shown he is not just a champion in the boxing ring - as he triumphed in a fun St Patrick's Day gladiator- style bout.

The unified IBF and WBA champion took on friend and fellow Cyclone Promotions fighter, Conrad Cummings.

But it wasn't his usual surroundings or conditions in a controlled ring - this time Frampton was fighting on a moving inflatable ring.

And what's more it wasn't in a sold-out stadium of screaming fans where the boxer took on the professional middleweight boxer.

It was in The Jackal's garden where his quick footwork and instinctive reactions kept him steady-footed and saw him triumph in the good-natured contest.

The party came just days after Frampton received his MBE from the Duke of Cambridge for his services to sport.

The Belfast boxer described it as a "very proud day".
