Chemical Brothers to headline Belsonic at Titanic Belfast

English duo return to Belfast with more of those block-rockin' beats

The Chemical Brothers will headline Belsonic 2016 at Titanic Belfast in June, it has been announced.

It is Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons' first show in the city since 2005.

The pair's last album 'Born In The Echoes' debuted at No. 1 in the UK album charts in July 2015.

They will be joined by support acts Erol Alkan, Phil Kieran & Schmutz on Friday June 10.

The Chemical Brothers join Ellie Goulding, David Guetta, Faithless, Foals, Tiesto, Biffy Clyro, Stereophonics, Bring Me The Horizon, Olivers Heldens & Robin Schulz at Belsonic's new location at Titanic Belfast.

The new event location replaces Custom House Square – the historic location of Belsonic.

Organisers say that the new, larger site provides space for better food and beverage facilities and enhanced staging, sound and lighting.

Tickets for The Chemical Brothers go on-sale Friday March 18 at 9am
