There is no place like home for Northern Ireland television star Christine Bleakley.

Tourists visiting Scrabo Tower in Newtownards would have got more than they bargained for as the presenter and her famous fiancé footballer Frank Lampard posed for a snap as they jogged together.

The pair met in 2009 and the former Chelsea player popped the question in 2011.

Despite an eager rumour mill, no date is thought to have been set for her long-awaited wedding.

Christine posted the photo on Twitter and said: "Nothing like a run to the top of Scrabo Tower in Newtownards to clear away the cobwebs. Loving home."

In an interview in May this year Lampard opened his heart about his fiancée calling her his "best friend."

He said: "People say opposites attract, but when you live together, you need to be harmonious, and she's my best friend."

He added: She's made me content."

Christine's career began at Citybeat Radio in Belfast before moving to BBC Northern Ireland.

She was then noticed by the BBC in London and was invited over to host the hugely popular One Show.

In 2010 she made a high-profile transfer from the BBC to ITV in a deal that involved teaming up with Adrian Chiles to take over the revamped morning programme Daybreak. The presenting pair were dropped the next year.

Most recently she was the co-host on ITV's  Dancing on Ice which ended last year.
