Christmas presents stolen during Belfast break-in

Police are appealing for information after thieves snatched Christmas presents from a property in north Belfast.

The break-in happened between 2.30pm and 4.45pm on Monday, December 4 at a house in the Cedar Avenue area of Belfast.

Detective Sergeant Mason said: "This was a heartless crime where someone has entered a house and stole Christmas presents and belongings.

"I would ask that everyone considers their home security and appeal to anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area to contact Detectives at Musgrave Criminal Investigation Branch on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1082 04/12/17.

"Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."
