Cigarettes stolen from Bradbury Place shop by raiders with knife

A man has been threatened with a knife during an armed robbery in south Belfast.

Two men entered a shop at Bradbury Place area at around 5.45pm yesterday evening.

One armed with a knife threatened a member of staff and a quantity of cigarettes were stolen in the incident.

The two men made off towards Sandy Row.

The victim was not hurt during the incident.

The robbers are described as being 30 to 40 years old.

One wore a dark hoodie with white stripes down the arm and a dark beanie-style hat, blue jeans, white trainers and dark gloves.

The other was wearing a grey hoodie, a white T-shirt, dark gloves and blue jeans with tears on the legs.

Police have appealed for anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident to contact them on the non-emergency number 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
