Cigarettes stolen in Dundonald burglary

Cigarettes have been stolen in a burglary in Dundonald.

Detectives are appealing for information after the report of a burglary at commercial premises in the Craigleith Drive area.

It was reported to police just before 6am on Thursday morning.

Detective Constable O’Neill said: “We believe the burglary occurred sometime between 10pm on Wednesday, 17th January and the time it was reported to police.

"I would appeal to anyone who was in the area and saw any suspicious activity, or who has information which could be useful to the investigation or anyone who is offered cigarettes for sale in suspicious circumstances to contact Detectives at Lisburn Criminal Investigation Branch on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 161 of 18/1/18.

“Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
