Co Antrim farmer James Moore is laid to rest
Mourners in Co Antrim have given thanks for the life of a 49-year-old Templepatrick man killed in a tractor accident.
James Moore's brother found him under a tractor at his farm on the Lowtown Road on Sunday.
Described as a "quiet" and "well-liked man", Mr Moore was a full-time bicycle mechanic but also farmed part-time.
Mourners gathered at Bairds Funeral Home for a service led by Rev Richard Kerr of Templepatrick Presbyterian Church to remember his life.
The cause of Mr Moore's death is still under investigation, but the incident is being treated as a farming accident.
Ulster Farmers' Union president Barclay Bell was among those who expressed his sympathy.
He said: "We all need to make farm safety a priority if we are to put a stop to farm accidents and fatalities, and the terrible heartache they cause to farming families."
