Commuters can take Smart route

North Belfast commuters are being given the chance to save money on bus travel as Translink announced its new initiative, Metro Friends, running this spring from, March 29 to April 4.

The new scheme has been launched to encourage more people to leave the car at home and travel together using Metro Smartlink for journeys along the Antrim Road bus corridor and enjoy value-for-money and better convenience.

Passengers will be offered a Smartlink travel card loaded with five journeys for £4 within the city zone, giving them a saving of £4 when compared to paying by cash.

Households situated along the Antrim Road on Metro corridor one will be posted a special promotional code which they can enter online at translink.co.uk/metrofriends to purchase a discounted Smartlink multi-journey card loaded with five journeys.
