Concern growing for missing crash driver

By Amanda Ferguson

The family of a Co Londonderry man who disappeared following a crash near Tobermore yesterday are growing concerned for his wellbeing.

A PSNI spokesman said 22-year-old Conor O’Kane was the driver of a car involved in a collision at Draperstown Road shortly after 1am on Monday.

The Dungiven man’s car sustained serious frontal damage but he was not at the scene when police arrived.

A passenger in Mr O’Kane’s vehicle had sustained a head injury and said he did not know of his whereabouts.

Mr O’Kane is described as being 5ft 11ins tall with ginger hair and of a slim, athletic build.
