'Creepy' clown paintings among stash recovered by PSNI in Armagh

The PSNI in Armagh have asked for the public's help in returning a stash of goods to its owner.

Included among the recovered goods are a number of unusual paintings of clowns described as "creepy" by a PSNI spokesperson.

The items, which are suspected stolen, were recovered as part of a search on Tuesday morning.

"As well as dingalings and knockers, we've also got some creepy paintings, a sundial, a large door handle, a pair of what are potential very old push/pull door bells and a small box. More will come!" the spokesperson said.

They added that someone had been arrested for the theft and was being held, but would be released unless they were able to gather evidence linking the items to specific thefts or burglaries.

Anyone who recognises the items is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting the reference 231 with the date 23/01/2018.
