Customs seize lorry from Circuit of Ireland rally driver Garry Jennings
Circuit of Ireland rally driver Garry Jennings has agreed to forfeit a tanker lorry and fuel seized by Customs officers.
Jennings was also ordered to pay legal costs of £1,000.
HM Revenue and Customs applied to Fermanagh Magistrates Court for the forfeiture of the Volvo lorry seized at Garvary filling station on the Tempo Road in Enniskillen on August 6 last year.
Jennings, whose address was given as Jennings Fuels and Lubricants Ltd, of Drumwhinney, Kesh, was not in court to hear his solicitor. A lawyer acting on behalf of HM Revenue and Customs say the tanker and fuel were to be forfeited by agreement.
The Subaru Impreza driver is an Irish Tarmac champion.
Earlier this year he became a father for the second time.
