Delivery driver robbed at gunpoint during attack in Co Londonderry

A delivery driver has been robbed by two men at gunpoint in Co Londonderry.

It happened in Oakvale Park, Ballysally area of Coleraine in the early hours of this morning.

Shortly after 2.25am Police received a report that as a delivery driver was delivering an order he was approached by two males. He was ordered to hand over his takings which he did. The two men then made off in the direction of the playing fields.

One of the men was reported to be carrying a gun and the other one was armed with a knife. A third male was observed in alleyway close by.

The two men who robbed the driver are described as being 6'1" and 5' 10" tall. One was wearing a red and black jacket with the hood up and had a white coloured scarf over his face. The second male was wearing a navy jacket with a red stripe and a dark coloured scarf up over his face. There is no description available of the third man.
