Drive-off woman sought

Castlereagh police are appealing for help to identify a woman who may be able to help with their enquiries into a number of drive-offs from petrol stations.

Officers are investigating a series of drive-offs which have each involved a black Vauxhall Astra car being filled with around £50-£60 worth of petrol and then driven away without payment being made.

Police would like to speak to a woman aged in her late teens or early 20s who is described as having long dark hair and has been seen wearing long ear-rings.

Enquiries into the incidents — three at Old Milltown Road since June and three this month: one each at Bradford Court, Forestside and one at Galwally — are ongoing.

Anyone who can help should contact Castlereagh Police Station on 0845 600 8000, or Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
