Driver injured as van is hijacked in Derry

A man was treated in hospital for a suspected broken cheek bone after his van was hijacked.

Shortly after 10am yesterday, two men approached a man in De Burgh Terrace, Londonderry, and assaulted him before driving off in his Peugeot van.

It was involved in a crash on Groarty Road and set on fire.

Two men, both aged 20, were arrested.
