Drones flown over Cave Hill in search for missing man

By Staff Reporter

Police have deployed drones over Cave Hill outside Belfast in a search for a missing man.

Michael Cullen (33) was last in contact with his family on Tuesday at around 2pm.

He is from the North Circular Road area of north Belfast.

Michael is described as a well-known beatbox performer who has played in London and Dublin.

Police said his family were growing increasingly concerned and have appealed for anyone who has seen him to get in touch.

Michael is 5ft 11in with dark hair and a beard. He was wearing a green puffa jacket, grey jumper and black trousers before he went missing.

Friends have organised searches and appeals through a Facebook group called Help Find Michael Cullen.

Teams took to Cave Hill yesterday to aid the search effort.

Rory Girvan, organiser of the group, said they "optimistic" during a search of Cave Hill yesterday. He said Michael was "well-loved" and probably Ireland's best beatbox performer.

He said his disappearance was "highly out of character".
