Drunken yob Jon Smallwoods fined for disorder at Twelfth parade
A judge said a man who was disorderly at a Twelfth parade this year "obviously didn't pay any attention" to the Orange Order's 'It's About The Battle, Not The Bottle' slogan.
Roofer Jon Smallwoods (26) from Kinsale Park, Londonderry, admitted being disorderly in Railway Place in Coleraine.
The town's Magistrates Court heard that Smallwoods threw a mobile phone at police and called them "b*******" as families were nearby.
Fining Smallwoods £200, District Judge Liam McNally said he had noticed an Orange Order statement about celebrating 1690 without getting drunk - but the defendant obviously hadn't taken it on board.
