Dunmurry and Lisburn arson attacks leaves six cars damaged
Six cars were damaged early yesterday morning after two reports of arson in the Dunmurry and Lisburn areas.
The first incident was reported shortly before 3am in the Riverside area of Dunmurry.
The PSNI said two cars were set alight with the flames spreading to a third car.
"Colleagues from Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene and dealt with the fire," police said.
"It is believed that an accelerant was used during the incident and enquiries are ongoing."
The second incident occurred two miles away in the Barbour Lodge area of Lisburn and was reported at 5.10am.
Two cars were set on fire outside a property with another car also damaged.
The PSNI said it is investigating a possible link between the incidents.
