Dunmurry residents help put out fire at arson-hit house

Neighbours of a man who was the victim of an arson attack helped put out the fire, the police have said.

A bin was set up against a house in the Glenbawn Square area of Dunmurry in the early hours of Friday morning.

Damage was caused to the rear of the house. The man inside at the time managed to escape injury.

A number of local residents extinguished the fire, police said.

They have appealed for anyone with information to get in touch.
