Duo rob chemist's at knifepoint

Police in west Belfast are appealing for information after a chemist's was robbed by two men armed with a knife.

The incident occurred on Springfield Road at around 1.45pm on Tuesday.

Two men armed with a knife entered the business, police said.

"The men demanded money and made off with a sum of cash in the direction of Violet Street. No one was injured in the incident, however a staff member was left shaken," a PSNI spokesman said.

The men are both described as being aged in their late 20s to early 30s. One of the men was wearing a red hooded top and grey track bottoms. The other was wearing a black hooded top and black bottoms.
