DUP in drive for e-car charge points for Ballymena
A County Antrim town could be set for a surge in people plugging in their cars before heading off on their daily commute, if a local councillor gets his way.
The DUP’s Tommy Nicholl is spearheading a campaign for the introduction of charging points in Ballymena for electric vehicles.
He claimed Ballymena is one of the few major towns in the province without the means of charging e-cars.
He said: “Ballymena needs one of these charging points to facilitate local people and tourists.”
