A teenage boy is in a critical condition after a collision in the Castlereagh area of east Belfast.

The incident happened at about 4pm.

The PSNI closed the Ballygowan Road at its junction with the Manse Road and Upper Braniel Road and at Crossnacreevy.

Diversions are in place.

There are no further details at present.
