EasyJet launches Manchester-Belfast

Low-fare airline easyJet is beginning its first direct service between Manchester and Belfast.

The twice-daily service between the two cities will complement easyJet's multiple daily services between Liverpool and Belfast.

The new service to Belfast is the fourth new easyJet route to begin operating from Manchester this year.

Services to Palma in Majorca began in March followed by a new three-times-a-week service to Bilbao in northern Spain in June.

The airline also launched flights to Berlin at the beginning of this month, which operate five times a week and provide the only direct service to the German capital from Manchester.
