Elderly woman robbed at home in north Belfast

An elderly woman was left shaken after being pushed by a gang which broke into a house in north Belfast.

The incident occurred at a residence at Wilton Street on Thursday.

Shortly before 5.40pm, three men approached a house in the area and pushed the woman, who is aged in her 70s.

It is believed a sum of money was taken during the incident.

Police said the woman was unharmed, but badly shaken.

Police have asked for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Tennent Street on 0845 600 8000.
