Police and the ambulance services have been called to a stabbing incident in Portrush.

The ambulance service received a call shortly after 7pm on Sunday evening.

A rapid response paramedic treated a man who had minor injuries after being stabbed.

He refused transport to hospital.

A number of police officers were in attendance at the scene along with the ambulance service. A road near where the incident took place was closed by police.
