Thousands of people are this week set to showcase efforts to improve community relations in Northern Ireland, with more than 200 events happening across all council areas.

Good Relations Week, coordinated by the Community Relations Council, this year has 'People Making Change for Peace' as its theme.

Events will cover issues including cultural diversity, dealing with the past, faith, sport, young people and language. Events include exhibitions, workshops, conferences, open days, discussions and more.

Belfast-based organisation, Springboard, will hold a 'People 4 Peace' event, when young people from Belfast will hear from inspirational speakers from a variety of backgrounds.

There will also be a refugee awareness day at the Tommy Makem Arts & Community Centre in Keady; Playing Together and Apart, an event at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park; a Troubles art display at Enniskillen Castle, and living history performances at First Derry Presbyterian Church.
