Explosives charges: Two men due in court after 'pipe bomb' found in west Belfast
Two men were charged in Belfast today with possessing explosives.
The pair, aged 25 and 38 are due to appear at a court in the city tomorrow, according to the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
It is understood they were detained on the outskirts of west Belfast on Saturday during a security alert in the Lagmore area where a number of items, including a suspected pipe bomb, were taken away for examination.
A third man, aged (27) who was also detained at the time, has been released unconditionally.
