Family of Pauline Kilkenny describe 'beautiful, vibrant daughter' and thank community for support

The family of a murdered shop worker from Fermanagh described their "beautiful, vibrant daughter" and extended their thanks to the local community for its support.

In a short statement issued through the PSNI on Thursday evening, the family of Pauline Kilkenny expressed their gratitude.

"We would ask that our family’s privacy is respected during this difficult time as we come to terms with the devastating loss of our beautiful, vibrant daughter, sister, aunt and friend," the statement said.

"Our time will be spent remembering Pauline for the incredible personality she was and feeling so grateful to have lived her life with her.

"We would like to thank the community for their love, support and continued co-operation with the police and their ongoing investigation."

The body of Belcoo woman Pauline was discovered at her home at around 1pm on Tuesday by her sister.

Concerns were raised after she failed to show up for work at Lilley's Centra and Topaz on Enniskillen's Lough Shore Road, where she worked as a member of the deli team.

Police said the contents of the 59-year-old's handbag and her car had been removed and appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

Two people have so far been arrested in the investigation into the murder.
