Fast food delivery driver left 'badly shaken' after being robbed at gunpoint by masked man in Belfast

A fast food delivery driver has been left badly shaken after being robbed at gunpoint in Belfast.

The incident happened in the Ballysillan Drive area at around 3.05am on Friday morning.

When the delivery driver got out of his car, he was approached by a masked man who pointed what is believed to be a gun at him before demanding the driver hand over his money.

When the driver said that he did not have any, the suspect took a wallet from the pocket of the victim.

The delivery driver got into his vehicle and drove off from the area.

He was not injured as a result of this incident, however he has been left badly shaken.

Detective Sergeant Stephen Gardiner has appealed to anyone who witnessed this incident or anyone who has information that could help with this investigation to contact Detectives at Musgrave Criminal Investigation Branch on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 110 16/02/18.
