Fears mounting for missing Chinese tourist Lily Xue

By Joanne Sweeney

Concern is mounting for a Chinese woman visiting Northern Ireland who has been missing since the weekend.

Coleraine police have launched an appeal for 25-year-old Lily Xue, last seen at Causeway Hospital around 10pm on Saturday.

Described as 4ft tall and very slim, Ms Xue left the hospital with a medical vent in one arm. She was wearing a grey/black tweed jumper and jeans at the time.

Inspector Colin Shaw said: "Lily has poor spoken English. She was staying with a friend in Portstewart and we are keen to hear from anyone who has seen her, or any motorist or taxi driver who may have noticed her on the road or given her a lift on Saturday night."
