Feile to stage play about girl killed in Shankill bomb
A play about a mother's grief after her daughter was murdered in the Shankill bomb is to be staged at the this year's Feile an Phobail.
'What If...', written by Patricia Downey, tells the heartbreaking story of Gina Murray, who lost her 13-year-old daughter Leanne in the 1993 IRA atrocity.
The play will be introduced by Alan McBride, whose wife Sharon and father-in-law Desmond Frizzell were also murdered. He is now a victims' campaigner.
'What If...' will be performed by the Spanner in the Works Theatre Company next Thursday, August 1, at 8pm in St Mary's University College.
