Northern Ireland's Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band triumphed at the weekend.

It was a day of music, sun and celebration enjoyed by young and old alike as the 73rd All-Ireland Pipe Band Championships took place. This year's event was held in New Ross, Co Wexford, and next year will be held in Ballymena, Co Antrim.

More than 60 bands were competing from Northern Ireland, the Republic, USA and Canada. Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band took the Grade 1 title with a medley performance.
