Fight to save jobs at Northern Ireland's Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency goes to Downing Street
The fight to save more than 300 jobs at Northern Ireland's Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency has been taken to Downing Street.
A petition containing more than 40,000 signatures will be presented at Westminster today.
The Coleraine office is one of 39 regional vehicle licensing offices throughout the UK targeted for closure to centralise services in Swansea.
Petition organisers claim that it is the largest known petition gathered in such a such space of time and that the closure of the office will affect hundreds of families in the area.
